Paneer tikka starter recipe

Give variety to your guest with this easy to make Paneer tikka starter recipe.

How to make it?

Take fresh 4 table spoon fresh curd in a bowl.

Add the following

  • Ginger garlic and 1 green chilly paste (Jain users can remove garlic)
  • 1 tsp chaat masala
  • 1 tsp kasturi methi
  • 1 tsp oregano and salt as per taste.
  • A pinch of black pepper powder

Mix the curd well with above ingredients

Use following vegetables and cut them in macedoine style

  • Cherry tomatoes
  • Yellow, green, red bell pepper
  • Onion (Jain users can ignore this)
  • And large paneer cubes

Insert all these vegetables and Paneer in curd mixture and let them marinate for an hour in refrigerator.

The reason we keep them in refrigerator is to preserve the freshness of vegetables and paneer and curd.

Now put paneer and veggies alternately in barbeque sticks

I used the bamboo sticks easily available in super markets.

Butter the nonstick grill tawa or plain nonstick tawa and heat it.

Once its hot enough to throw steam above, put the sticks as showed in the picture below.

In the above picture, the one which is ready to serve turns reddish golden with some burnt grill charcoal effect.

Serve it with green pudina and corriander chutney.
